Kiukoo Scandic -saunasetti on suunniteltu sekä valmistettu kokonaan Suomessa ja viimeistellään käsityönä Tervossa, Kiukooahon kylässä.

Puuosat on tehty suomalaisesta lämpökäsitellystä männystä – kestävästä ja kauniista materiaalista, joka tuo saunaan luonnollista arvokkuutta. Kauhan metalliosa on valmistettu lämpövärjätystä ruostumattomasta teräksestä, joka yhdistää kultaisen sävyn näyttävyyden ja ruostumattoman teräksen erinomaiset käyttöominaisuudet. Kauhan päässä komeileva karhufiguuri henkii suomalaista luontoyhteyttä ja kruunaa kokonaisuuden.

THE STORY OF THE STOVE

It all started when Kiukoo's founders Jari and Teemu were returning from a sauna evening and were left wondering one thing: why do so many wonderfully built and decorated saunas still throw the steam water out of the bucket with a plastic ladle?

They thought the sauna experience deserved the finishing touches it deserved. Why invest in a heater, benches and lighting – but ignore the ladle and bucket?

That's how the idea for the Kiukoo Scandic sauna set was born: the world's most epic sauna bucket and spade, made from the world's best materials to last over time and bring dignity to every sauna moment.

Today, Kiukoo continues the same idea that Jari and Teemu came up with that evening: a sauna deserves beauty and quality even in the smallest details.

Kiukooaho products are assembled and finished by hand in Tervo, in the village of Kiukooaho.

The wooden parts of the Kiukoo Scandic sauna set are made of Finnish heat-treated pine. The heat treatment permanently changes the wood's cell structure, which improves its resistance to decay. Its excellent moisture and heat resistance make it the perfect material for sauna conditions.

The demanding conditions of a sauna – heat, humidity and repeated use – also require more from materials than in everyday life. That is why the metal parts of the Kiukoo Scandic sauna set are made from only two top materials:

Stainless steel

The handle and cup of the ladle are made of steel that will last for decades without rusting or deteriorating. Its brass-tone heat-treatment adds a unique dignity to the metal, making each ladle a striking eye-catcher.

Powder-coated aluminum

The aluminum sauna bucket combines lightness and durability. The powder coating makes the surface even more wear and scratch resistant, while the deep matte black color gives it a modern and stylish look.

Powder coating is a durable and more environmentally friendly coating solution that does not use solvents and minimizes material waste.

What does the sauna set include?

Our premium sauna set includes a bear head decorated sauna ladle and a black sauna bucket. Materials: heat-treated Finnish pine, stainless steel and powder-coated aluminum.

Is delivery free?

Yes. We offer free shipping in Finland (5–7 business days) for all orders over €100.

Does the product need any maintenance?

The materials in our products have been selected to withstand warm and humid conditions. By taking care of a few things, you can ensure that your products stay as good as new for as long as possible:

Always empty the sauna bucket of water after using the sauna.
Do not store the ladle in water. Prolonged exposure to water can fade the ladle's beautiful brass color.
Store upside down; avoid storing in warm or humid environments.
Cleaning: Use mild soapy water and a soft sponge or brush. Do not use sharp or abrasive materials.

Where are the products manufactured?

Kiukooaho products are designed and manufactured 100% in Finland. The Scandic sauna set is assembled and finished by hand in Tervo, in the village of Kiukooaho.
